IDC is a non-profit organization whose main objective is to help bring together different communities in order to promote compassion, cooperation and partnership through intercultural interaction, interfaith dialog and conversation. The IDC is dedicated to encouraging the study of the values and spiritual traditions of the global community through respect, accuracy, and appreciation. |

Iowa Dialog Center is a non-profit organization which was founded in 2005 by the Turkish Americans in Iowa. The members of ICEF are volunteers from a variety of professions including faculty members, Ph.D. students, and business people. |

Iowa Dialog Center has sought for ways to outreach to more people, develop community projects, and grow successfully. The Niagara Foundation in Chicago, a sister organization, has been in operation for longer than the Iowa Dialog Center. Iowa Dialog Center has had the privilege to use their experience based on an agreement. The two organizations have collaborated on various events in the past. In order to make this interaction even more effective, the board of directors of IDC proposed affiliation to the NF's board, in November 2008. The Iowa Dialog Center eventually merged to Niagara Foundation for a mutually beneficial collaboration. During 2010, which will be considered a transition period, both Iowa Dialog Center's and Niagara Foundation's logos will be displayed in the dialog activities in Iowa. Beginning in 2011, Iowa Dialog Center will be renamed as "Niagara Foundation of Iowa". |
